Carrie and I have spent a combined 50 years working in finance and healthcare. We’ve built and sold a couple business and find ourselves building another with the Umpqua River Lodge. This time however, we are following our true passions of flyfishing and great wine. We have enjoyed flyfishing in Alaska, Iceland and all across the United States. During this time we’ve experienced some truly remarkable lodges that created lifelong memories. We hope to create similar experiences for our guests who visit the Umpqua River Valley. If you’re looking to flyfish we have a full service fly shop on site and can get you on the water and into fish quickly. If you’re looking for a memorable wine tour experience, we would love to take you to our favorite vineyards. Alternatively, we can visit vineyards of your choice.
